This is a place where we hope to start a conversation about education, about leveling the playing field, about social justice, about teaching for change, about tapping our imagination to have the most impact on student lives, about how we might put our passion to work to make a difference for real students. We are a graduate teaching residency program and our aim is to equip outstanding teachers for Richmond Public Schools. We care deeply about educational reform, about creating possibilities for Richmond students, about urban education, about social justice, about excellence in the classroom, about making a difference with our lives. This teacher residency program matters to us because we see it as a principle life changer. We want to be the tipping point for student success in Richmond. We want to develop top notch teacher leaders to serve in our community. We want this alternative teacher preparation program to teach for change - here and now.
